how much would u pay for this 2k3 4Runner?

http://autotrader.com/findacar/vdeta...or=&cardist=10

i'm looking for a SUV for my mom in the low 20k range...she wants toyota, either 4runner or V6 highlander....leather and sunroof is not needed. 4x4 is not need either.

do you think that's a fair deal for the 4runner? i'd prolly ask for 22k, but what do u guys think? i've never bought a SUV before nor do i know much about toyotas...is there anything i should look for when checking out this 4runner? my mom wants to go see it this weekend.

any info would help.
Thanks

I never understood the logic of buying an SUV w/ lousy mileage and NOT getting 4x4? Can someone explain this to me?

for the same reason we bought accords and hook 'em up w/pullies, headers, intakes, etc......even though it doesn't make us much faster than we are......FOR THE STATUS.....otherwise we would buy civics and dump the remaining money on making it a speed demon.

Ahh..that makes sense Av6Sedan lives in Texas, so that explains it. LOL. I come from the DC Metro area, so we do get quite a bit of snow on occasion so at first it didn't seem to make any sense to get a 4x2. Thanks for clearing it up.

But the mileage sucks! LOL. Then again....If I had the $$$, I'd still want to own a Hummer.
