My New 2004 Sienna AWD Limited

My new ride

2004 Toyota Sienna AWD Limited

http://www.toyota.com/vehicles/2004/sienna/options.html

I have Package #6 (HO) under the Limited Section. Silver

The one I test drove last Friday didn't have any lag at 2000 RPM. The one I'm getting is supposed to arrive next week between the 22-26, so hopefully I get it soon!!! I'll test to see if the lag is there. There was supposed to be a firmware upgrade to get rid of that lag.

More details later...but basically, I have a rolling entertainment machine now! Now I have to check out the headrest LCD's, speakers, etc... Hehehe.

The damn thing is Lexus quality. Quiet as hell, same 3.3L Engine, Same 5-speed transmission, same ride, quietness,etc... ehehe...all for $40k (the dealer gave me 1200 off MSRP AND covered Freight.....all the other dealers in my area would only give me MSRP since it was so HOT.)

Good Bye Mercedes-Benz.

DAMN $40k for a minivan! WOW Good luck with it bro.

Quick question....why would there be lag at 2k RPMs?

sold the benz, eh? Good riddance.

We've been extremely impressed by our 2002 Highlander AWD Limited. Toyota will definitely be getting more of our business in the future. They're one of the few companies out there these days that are still making quality vehicles.

Hey I got that lag in my Brothers 04' Solara SLE V6 Has the same 3.3L engine as the Sienna.

The lag is in the pedal. Unlike the Accord where you can hit the gas it goes, but with the Solara you have to depress the pedal almost 1/2" to 1" down before the car gets gas. And this car has that drive by wire system if I remember where the Throttle body is controled by the ECU like the 7th gen AV6. Im guessing thats why it lags. If the ECU can be flashed i think i rather have that lag removed. Im always over compensating.

Well, around the DC metro area, the last 2 snow storms has everyone picking up SUV's and AWD vehicles left and right. Add to the fact that everyone and their uncle is trying to take advantage of the SUV tax break for small businesses, we have quite a hot market for 4wd and awd cars here.

Being FL, I can imagine a low demand for an AWD Sienna. We were happy to even find this particular model. A mid-atlantic search on the Toyota database only showed 2 units on the ground and around 12 others either in transit or being built to ship to this region.

Can you tell me more about this SUV tax break?

I did a google search and found out you can get a tax deduction after buying an suv that weighs over 6000lbs but the amount that can be deducted varied greatly on the different sites I visited, do you know what it is now, or know of any sites with current, correct info on this suv tax break?

ALso, i didnt know you can get siennas in awd!
I think the only other minivans availble with awd are the chrysler bunch.

Also 40 grand seems like a lot but other minivans are starting to cost around that much with all the new added features,
the new quest fully loaded goes for 39k, but you dont get awd!

You need to own your own business and purchase through the business. Your accountant will know what the exact figures are...I saw the same thing on the web

But...I know one thing..its a lot of money. a 60k suv can be written off to make it like you only paied 20k for it cuz u get the deductions

The new Toyota Sienna is a great van. The design is similar to the Toyota Estima and the interior looks like the Toyota Alphard, which is large luxury Toyota van in the Japanese Domestic Market.

ITs the smart Cruise control that some high end luxury cars have.

Like MB and Caddy's have these and i think Audi does to on the very top models not sure.

But basically its a smart cruise control, instead of just keeping the car at some speed. It uses a laser to track your distance infront of you to keep the same distance.

So if the car infron of you starts slowing down instead of pressince cancel or hold the decel button the car with the laser cruise control will adjust the cars speed so it can keep the equal amt of distance it had before when you set the cruise control.

My dad got a H2 ($61,500) for around $22,000 drive out plus $15,000 back over the next 8 years or so. therefore, 7 grand for a 2004 H2.
