Rx300

I own both a RX 300 and a LS430 and have in the past owned a LS400. Through my experiance, the LS was a car that no other in the market could beat. It had great handling, enough power for drivning to work and back home, and the luxury in unmatchable. With the RX, my views are much differnent. From the first day, the car has been giving me problems. After about 2 years, i took it to the dealer and made them look at the car in detail, only after then am i getting over 15 mpg. Also, the car does not have the luxurious feel the other lexus's have, Ive driven the IS and GS also. I was wondering if anyone else was feeling the same way, that the RX300 is really not a Lexus. On the other hand, the new RX330 from waht ive seen (never actully drove it) seems much more luxurious, such as the LS. Anyone got any thoughts?

We have a 2002 Toyota Highlander AWD Limited (pretty similar to RX) and have been very happy with it. Highway mileage is 22-24 mpg which is pretty darn good and we haven't had a single problem with it. We bought it new and the car is about a year old with 17,000 miles on it.

What year is your RX, and did you buy it used or new?

I bought it in 1999, but it was a 2000. and it was bought new. Over all I love Lexus, but its just that the car didnt meet my expectations.
