[email protected] at Capitol Raceway this past Friday

Went and decided to give it another go at the drag stip this weekend in hopes of some cooler weather, but the weather wasn't as cool as I hoped it would have been. Temps were in the mid 70's and fairly humid. My best run was a [email protected]
All of my runs were done with slightly less than 1/2 tank of gas, spare tire removed, Traction Control Disabled, no power braking and front tires set to 40psi and rears at 28psi. Here is the break down of my runs.

Track: Capital Raceway, Crofton MD
Elevation: 300ft

Run #1
5:22pm 74 degrees
60' 2.053
13.548 @ 103.04

Run #2 (My best run)
5:28pm 74 degrees
60' 2.024
[email protected]

Run #3
5:36pm 74 degrees
60' 2.175
[email protected]

Run #4
5:53pm 74 degrees
60' 2.054
[email protected]

Run #5 (Engine getting too warm and heat soaked)
6:13pm 72 degrees
60' 2.144
[email protected]

Run #6 (Last run of the day. Humidity is going up.)
9:51pm 68 degrees

I think the car is capable of a 13.3 second pass in cooler weather. One guy ran a [email protected] in Canada a few months ago with a 50 degree temp.

Speaking of which, there was a Mercedes C32 AMG there running low 12's all night long. I believe he just had a smaller pulley and exhaust. That was impressive.

Yeah it's bone stock with exception to a slight mod to the intake. I still utilize the Factory airbox and OEM air filter, but replaced the intake pipe with a smoother flowing one.

I just updated my signature. My best dyno run with SAE correction on a dynojet.

Damn my buddy and I were there about 2 months ago and we barely got one run in. What time did you show up to get 5 runs?

If you get there when it opens you can get several runs in before 6pm. After 6 it does start getting crowded and can take close to 2 hours for another run.
