Smile SOLD: Lowepro Slingshot 300AW bag LIKE NEW ($55)

Lowepro Slingshot 300 AW bag

Back up for sale as of 5/15/09

Purchased from a local pro shop, used exactly once on an international trip, and is still in Like New condition. This bag is great if you're going on a photography dedicated trip and want to bring a ton of gear, but this is just way overkill for my needs. I haven't used it since this one trip I made with it, and can't forsee myself ever needing it again, so off it goes. I'm downsizing the amount of equipment I have and simplifying my setup, for looking for a new home for this bag too.

ASKING $55 SHIPPED & PAYPALED (eBay prices $60-70 used)

oops I forgot to take a photo of the rear of my D80. Will do that tonight. I recently bought a new BM-3 I think it's called rear LCD cover protector. Screen has been protected since day 1 so it's in great shape, and no visible wear on the buttons.

hmmm... that 50mm f/1.4 is tempting, even though I already have a 50mm f/1.8. haha

D80 is a better camera but is slightly larger. the higher the number in Nikon D-series, the better the camera. (well at least more features and better specs!)

I would have sooooooo bought this camera from you back when I was looking for one. I ended up with the D60. I'm tempted to get that Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 lens but does it have a built-in motor for autofocus? i would buy the D80 now, but I wouldn't wanna have a D60 and a D80, and I wouldn't wanna get rid of the D60 considering it was a college graduation gift. :/ i'd feel awful.

The biggest and best reason to get a D80 is if you want to use a lot of the older prime lenses and other cheap but good non AF-S lenses so that you have full autofocus support. The awesome little 50mm f/1.8D lens for $100 won't autofocus on the D40, but it will on the D80. Anyways I've been putting money into nice $$$$ lenses, so the lack of the in body focus motor drive on the D40 series isn't an issue to me anymore.

For whatever reason it's very awkward for me to get on and off. And plus it's truly rare that I'd actually want to carry enough stuff to fill this thing. Selling to help fund a Think Tank bag.

Can you fit your 70-200, other lenses, and D200 in this bag? I can't see the pictures.

Added photos back in. Yeah it'll carry a pro f/2.8 telephoto zoom down the centerline no problem, along with six slots for other junk around the sides. It's big enough to carry a pro D2/D3 sized body or any other body with a grip attached. Small enough bodies will even fit on the pockets with a body cap on. Or you can remove one of the dividers and put a body in a double sized slow with lens attached face down. Do it on the other side and you can have three camera bodies in this bag complete with lenses ready to go, and still have two extra pockets, and the whole top storage area!
