FS: Nikon 14mm f/2.8D full-frame ultra-wide lens

After much deliberation, fretting, back and forth, putting pics up to sell and then changing my mind, I've finally decided to let go of my Nikon 14mm f/2.8D lens. This is a FULL-FRAME lens. The lens is in great shape - the same condition it was in when I bought it which is basically like new. Has box, paperwork, and front and rear caps. I think there was a pouch with this lens as well. I'll try to find it but can't remember 100% if it came with one or not. I'm thinking it did so I'll look, but no guarantees.

FULL-SIZED photos available by clicking here

Reason for selling: Decided that I'll be sticking with DX afterall rather than jumping to full-frame digital like I had anticipated when buying this lens, so I'm selling it to fund a Nikon 10-24DX. I love this lens. I know I'm going to miss it, but just can't justify having two relatively high-end ultra-wide lenses so this one has to go. I love using this lens on both 35mm film and DX digital. 14mm on DX is equivalent to 20-21mm on full-frame which is still a classic wide-angle focal length and very handy.

V6P special hookup price: ASKING $800 including paypal and USPS priority mail shipping. This is well below the $900-1000 going rate for these things on eBay. I just hate eBay and would rather sell it on a private forum to avoid all the BS.

This must have come out around the same time as the 20-35mm f/2.8D I'm interested in, because it has the same push-and-turn MF-AF ring. lol

Beautiful lens though.

yep, same era. The 14mm came out in 1999 with the D1.

Wow... you're selling it at like half-price. Great deal and great seller, everybody!
