Haha, it's funny, i'm very afraid of bees as well but as you try shooting more bugs, being behind the camera makes you feel like you're behind a barrier

The camera was a Nikon D80 and as far as lenses go, most of them were taken with the sigma 24-60mm F2.8, some with the 50mm f1.8, the Macro was the 80-200 F2.8 combined with the canon 500d diopter.

for some reason i thought you had the D40. i just got the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 macro for my D80.

I had a D40, but I sold it because it didn't have the internal focusing motor like the D80 =T. Have you tried that lens out yet? I've heard great things about it.

how's that make an impact on your photos? Is that a professional thing or a regular guy can/will benefit on that too?

It allows you to autofocus some older lenses (Fast primes)that you otherwise could not with a D40, D60.
