now make sure your animations toolbar is open:
for me it is at the the lower left of the screen.
If you do not see it goto:
Window> animation

ok now to get ready to edit the animation.
in the animation toolbar select the 1st frame.
now in the layers toolbar click Layer 1.
for me the layers toolbar is in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

now we are going to select the color we want and change the blending mode.
Start off by selecting the color you want, i picked blue.
then select the Brush tool.
now for the critical part! With the brush tool selected, goto the toolbar along the top and select mode: and pick color dodge.

now select frame 2 from the animation toolbar
and select layer 2 from the layers toolbar
(the key to this is you have to select both the frame and the layer)

<<<<< Check out my new avatar<<<<<

instead of using the Color Dodge mode i first desaturated the images and then used the Overlay mode and colored it blue, it looked much cleaner this way. i messed with it for a while and got it looking like i wanted.

next thing im gonna work on is my sig, im gonna put the matrix stuff into my sig somehow, its probably gonna take me a LONG time to figure it out but hopefully it turns out nice.
