here i cali we dont have a winter - we have green year round.

no jk, there arent that many deciduous trees where i live. i guess my backyard looks pretty cool sometimes in the fall haha but the santa ana wind usually blows all the leaves away so theres not muc color lingering around

70-200VR

There's one with the Nikon 10.5 fisheye (well two actually, converted and unconverted), and a Tokina 11-16 shot in there also.

That's one thing I noticed while I was out there, Steve, was the colors. Amazing. We really just have 2 seasons out here. Spring and Summer. Kind of a winter too I guess, but not much of one. It was 90 degrees today. Damn Santa Ana winds.

thanks! Yeah that's a personal favorite. I was actually walking home from taking all of the other photos but saw that and just loved how the light was pouring through the flag and illuminating it. Taking flag photos are challenging and a lot of luck. It wasn't too windy so the flag was sitting dead a lot and I was standing around, but once in awhile it'd pick up and then I just snapped away hoping I'd get a good 'flag pose'. Managed to get a few I really liked.
