200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide

I bought a copy of "200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide 08/09" at my local bookstore. They had it on the magazine newstand with the other photography and art rags. Totally awesome collection! It was only $29.99 too! It sounds like a lot, but it's got almost 500 pages on that thick "coffee table book" paper and so many different types of pictures. It's like five of those expensive photo books in one! The only bad thing about it, is that it's made me realize that I really really really suck at photography.

Use it as personal inspiration and for a source of creative ideas. I like your photos.

Kuya, you aren't really really really bad at photography, just really really bad.

I'm kidding. You're getting a lot better and every photo that you take helps you understand photography more. The books that I have for helping understand photography are:
National Geographic Field Guide - Peter K. Burian and Robert Caputo (Great for work in the field as it's rather compact, has a built in gray card and fits nicely in my camera bag.)
The Digital Photography Book - Scott Kelby (This is probably one of the best books that I will ever get for photography.)
Black & White Photography - Henry Horenstein (This is the book that we used during my first photography class back in 04. Awesome book for learing.)
Understanding Exposure - Bryan Peterson (Get it, read it, love it.)
Black & White Photography in the Digital Age - Tony Worobiec and Ray Spence (Great book that translates film techniques into digital techniques from learning the camera to post production and printing. A lot of great ideas and help in it.)
B&H Photo Video Catalog - B&H Photo Video (Come on, what more could you ask for? It's like having the B&H store in your home.)

I die a little inside whenever I see someone's badass wedding photos that they shot, so I feel ya. But like Whumba said...you get better with every picture you take. I like to think more about whether or not I'm progressing, rather than whether or not I'm "good".
