Nope, heard it's great though. I wanted to pick one up but I'm not going to bother. Going full frame pretty soon, so I'm probably going to end up with the 17-40 L.

Going with a 5D mkii? Freaking amazing pics, Ray!! what do you shoot with currently? Was that all natural lighting? Is that the inside of a semi btw?

On another note, how is the suspension holding up? It's been about a year right? Lots of questions, I know. :P

--I wish! If I could afford it, that'd be my choice. I'm 99% set on picking up either a used or refurbished 5D classic.

Freaking amazing pics, Ray!!
--Thanks! I loved how this set came out. The shots are going to be used on the wheel company's website, and are likely making it onto the Club Lexus calendar.

what do you shoot with currently?
--a gripped Rebel XTi. I have the 70-200 2.8 IS L, the 18-55 IS, and the 50 1.8. My brother has the 10-22 which I borrowed for this shoot, among others, lol. Love teh wideee

Was that all natural lighting?
--Yeah, I didn't use my Vivitars for this shoot. The lighting was perfect in there. I did some minor cloning and some dodging on whatever panels were closest to the camera to remove the shadows, keeping the light on the car more or less even. The shots looked great out-of-camera though.

Is that the inside of a semi btw?
--Nah, it's a downdraft booth, a nice one at that, inside a high-end body shop down here in Miami.

On another note, how is the suspension holding up?
--Very good actually! But I'm most likely going to get some wider tires put onto my RSX rims and Function & Form Type Is because I've gotten spoiled with the handling from the Ksports on my girlfriend's '02.

It's been about a year right?
--Almost exactly!

Lots of questions, I know. :P
--No kidding!!! hahaha

Coolness, congrats on the calendar! I really need to get a telephoto zoom that is fast.

Yay... I have Function and Form Type Is and the difference in handling is night and day, not to mention a lot more aggressive look.

How's the ride with them? I know the Ksports are super stiff, but I don't exactly want a real soft ride either.

Yeah, it's a tad higher... coil overs are going on soon to fix that.

The ride is very stiff, but it's decently comfortable on smoother roads. It's very stiff and a little harsh on bad roads, but it's not too bad. You will definitely notice a difference in stiffness from the TEIN springs. The F2 type 1 is 12k/6k spring rate and I believe the TEIN springs were 3k/2k or something ridiculously soft like that. That's why the TEINS are so bouncy, and the F2s have extremely quick rebound. The biggest improvement I noticed besides the sharp handling was the braking. I only have EBC Ultimax brakes and Akebono Pro-Act pads and stock brake lines, and the braking is freaking amazing, mainly due to the suspension travel being a lot shorter and the rebound being very fast. There is absolutely no nose dive.

I know the F2s are some of the cheapest coilovers out there, around the same price as TEIN Basics, Omni, NEX, but their newer line of coilovers seem to be on par with the slightly more expensive Ksports and D2, but there's no damper adjustability. I know they're not the best coilover out there, but for a cheap alternative, they rock!
