i dont' know if 2 contests are actually necessary
cause if 2 different ppl win ea contest, there's a good chance that the Large logo and Small logo will have different styles, which is really bad.

A company would have a hard time gaining recognition with 2 DIFFERENT logo's. I just think that whoever enters should provide BOTH small and large logos with their entries so that the chosen design will have CONSISTENCY.

WE understand the uniformity appeal associated with having a variety of Logo, branding stickers and banners. WE still do not know what direction to go right now. That is why WE are keeping everything open right now. WE are looking for something creatively and uniquely different, eye catching and simple, that will immediate identify who WE are. Also need to detemine what color scheme we plan to use as our official colors (i.e Silver, Black, White & Red). Please do your best to send all your designs ASAP! Time is getting short, and WE want to be able to have all our V6P Promotional items ready for our important National Meet & SEMA event.

Thanks for your help & support,
Maurice

I love your idea's frryy .

They fit the requirements and look great at the same time. And I see you added the twin pistons on the V (wasn't that a suggestion I made??).

BTW: Frryy, those barcode things you always use in your pics actually look great on the banner ones .

Hey Ryan, just a little secret, your design so far is #1 with the admins but we wanted to get some more participants to get more ideas

I love your idea with the pistons on the V, I actually had the same idea in mind, but I couldn't visualize how it would look, but your design solved that problem

Good job

GotVtec: Great pics of the shifter...but keep in mind that we need something for a banner and something for t-shirts with a central theme.

This also includes things such as mugs, bags, mousepads, etc...
Anyone have anything with red and blue? hehehe.

We've seen it already

You did a great job on that brad . I like it so much I think I'm going to replace the current shifter image in the banner with that one.

Ryan I hope you don't mind that I jacked your image

Anyway, like I said, the V with the pistons is a great idea, but what if it we actually made it like a V6 don't mind me just bored and playing around. The black one is a little hard to see, gotta lessen the fade.

lol, even I wasn't sure I liked the fading, but then some felt that it's not "complete". Like you said frryy's original is nice and simple

oh well, back to the think tank.

Could one of you talented people please work on just the 'V' image (as illustrated above), by adding a crank pulley and a set of headers. Then turn the image at a 30 degree angle, I would like what it looks like. The 'V' is the main attention grabber, so tweaked a little and then we can add the rest of the text, might be all that's needed. I see V6P as the engine with the dot '.' as the crank pulley and the word 'net' as the oil pan, sitting below V6P, using BLOCK lettering. It's just an image that keeps repeating in my mind. I'm hoping some of you can follow that train of thought.

Thanks for your help.
Maurice

If everyone gave their all and its the best you can do, that's fine.

I am going to run the best of your work through my sister (maybe a couple of members on her team and some her art department contacts) and see if they have any suggestions. My sister is Director, Merchandising, Universal Studios, everything passes through her desk (i.e. Fast Furious, etc. merchandising for every movie they make). She's a grad from Cal Arts in Valencia.
So just tell me you are are done!

I truly appreciate all your efforts on this very important project, and will make sure everyone that participated be awarded their V6P points.

Thanks for your help & support,
Maurice
