my camera acting wierd

Hi.
I have had my D80 for a little more than a month now and it started acting strange this past sunday... at the beach.
It was working beautifully and all of a sudden... images... came out distorted, crooked, and in weird colors in the preview.
It comes out fine in the auto preview, but when I go back to look at it using play (small triangle)... or transfer the images to my computer it shows something like this.

http://new.photos.yahoo.com/accordin...60762398494820

some of the pictures look fine on preview on computer but when opened, its screwed up.

I took it to my local camera shop and they seemed to have no idea. they suggested that I should send it back to Nikon.

Anyone have similar problem or have any clue what might be wrong or what I should do. All my equipments are under warranty and I have all the proof of purchase so I am not worried. Just pissed off that I have to go through this trouble.

Something I just notice...
it seems to screw up the image differently. When uploaded, on the camera, and on computer when opened and when preview is shown on computer.

I ruled out lense being broken because I tried out different lense. So it's either the SD card or the Camera.

Anyone familiar with Nikon, SanDisk warranty process?

Try a different SD card. If its still showing up, then its your camera and I suggest sending it into NIkon to check it out.

Did you try the Nikon forums? Nikonians.com?

Just dropped off my camera at Nikon. Lucky I live 20 minutes from them.
It wasn't the memory card.

I didn't ask because person at the front desk didn't seem very knowledgable.
