100 seems a bit overkill.. 25-50 seems reasonable.

you have new members that hijack other ppl's thread and all they're posting is 'test' for an example.
and with a low post count, they're obviously not an active member yet and cant really be reputable.
just a suggestion is all.

i always thought it would be cool is v6p has like their own version of paypal, that way administrators and sen. mods can have access and deal with bad transactions. but i think i'm thinking way way way over my head. lol.

I agree there should be some sort of post requirement before you sell something. There is allways concern when someone has 3 posts and is selling rims or something anyways. 100 posts would make the person look alot more legit, and possibly solve some problems. Altough it would force people who want to sell something to post 100 times, often there going to be one word useless posts.

So, don't buy anything from people who have 3 posts?

So, only buy stuff from people of whom have more than 100 posts? What problems would this solve? Solve the problem of people being too lazy move their eyes to the left of the screen to check post counts, possibly checking what kind of posts said person has made? Is that it?

If I see people making BS posts, I delete them and give them a warning.

I think it's only logical to buy things from members who have been around for a while. I wouldn't even buy something from someone who has been here less than a year. I know I am coming across as a douche (and I usually do), but it just seems to me that it should be just that easy. If you don't want to buy something from someone for any reason, then don't

We've had members with a couple 1000 posts burn other members. It really doesn't matter how many ya got.

Your best bet is always to use PayPal or another 3rd party with a dispute resolution system in place in case the transaction goes sour. From the point of V6P, we would rather just offer the medium of the marketplace, and attempt to mediate all of the transactions between our members. Getting into processing of credit cards and other transactions is a bit above our pay-grade or resource level.
