No more Vendors Right Now

We're hoping to get new vendors. Honda Pro Shop is closed until Joe gets a new dealer and Excelerate's contract has expired.

Thanks for your patronage.

Honda Pro Shop Closed
I just wanted to thank everyone that supported the Honda Pro Shop forum. I resigned my postion with this company for various reasons that I will not get into but I can tell you that I took a parts managers position with one of the largest Acura dealerships in Ohio. Chris has asked me to stay on and offer Acura parts and Honda parts that cross over to Acura. I will be setting up that forum shortly. Thanks again and I look forward to working with this site and its members.

I would be one of those. V6P just never had the in-depth experimenting with new ideas that I found on other forums. M8G, Acurazine, ClubLexus, S2Ki and ClubRSX being the others I frequented much more than V6P. Now M8G gets most of my attention.

Let's not try to start a pissing match, especially the mods here.

Can't add much if there's nothing to add to begin with...

Obviously, This forum will always be the place for 7th Gen owners to come to and that's it.

Don't get me wrong - It's a great community for the 7th Gen's.

I kind of think v6p is an overall great site for all gens of Accords. The 8th gen hasn't been as important because not that many people have looked into modding it. That is what my8thgen is for...to get the word out.

Our 6th and 7th gen sections have some of the best minds in the fab. game.

Not a pissing match. I could care less how big or small other websites are. I just don't like it when people come here to talk **** on us. That's all. I understand that the 8th gen section is slow. The 7th gen section was like that too. I was one of the first to own a 7th gen, one of the first to mod it too. Every new model has to start somewhere.

We (us mods) are mostly very friendly with other sites. A lot of other forums ban the use of "rival" forum urls in posts. We don't. Hell, we even let you put them in your user title. There is no point in starting forum wars.

In a round about way you are right, but in a different perspective. There isn't a whole lot of people pioneering with the 8th gen... yet. Once that happens, our 8th gen section will boom.

And 6th Gens. And anyone else who wants to converse in automotive theory. We have a lot of very knowledgeable people here who can help with any generation Accord as well as many other makes and models. There are also a ton of other forums out there for all of the generation Accords that survive in tandem with V6P. M8G will not be the only sorce for the 8th Gen. And neither will we. We're fine with that fact. Are you?

I agree, a lot of knowledgeable 6th Gen and 7th Gen guys! I'm happy to have met a few thus far. Heck, Some have stepped up and helped out us 8th Gen guys a lot.

I understand where you are coming from so no worries! My intentions and thoughts weren't to come across negatively.

Let's just all be glad we're not like... say DRIVEACCORD for that matter.

Glad to see there are still quality forums out there with quality members and not a n00b fest. Also, not a sell out and with nazi Admins and Mods such as DA. Hell, even my forum name is censored over there (I wouldn't be surprised if they sink low enough to ban members rocking M8G decals). LOL Anything goes on mine and V6P has the comfort of a hang out as well hence why I still come here.

I'm hoping we can all work together one day and do big things with the Accord community. I can careless where this or that person comes from as long as they got love for the game. I know I'll be contacting some of you guys at a later date to do a big all out Meet.

I agree with godspeed in the aspects of 6th gen and 7th gen information. When I joined there was purely 6th gen information and met quite a few who hung out with the Acurazine crowd locally. I came on here looking for pioneering information on the J32 engines when I had my 02 TL-S. Obviously more information from Acurazine applied to me than the 6th gen Accord's. I can't speak as much for the 7th gen as I was not around after I had moved to AZ.

I haven't added much because of what I came over here with (see above for previous vehicle) and that I have an 8th gen Accord Coupe I4, so the V6 portion doesn't apply so much. The I4 section on this forum is there (thanks for that, btw), but it is very dormant as not many I4 owners will come to a site labeled V6 Performance off-the-bat to find information on their engines. Eventually, like the 6th gen and 7th gen forums, the entire Accord crowd will begin to mingle together on this forum, but I didn't contribute before due to not finding much that applied to me previously.

I'm not talking down V6P at all. I've met many members from here through other means and have full respect for their abilities to push the envelope of the 6th gen and 7th gen Accord's. But if otsb is a moderator from the colored username tag I see, it obviously seems to make some mods think this site is better than others due to member count.

I guess I just find it funny that there is no Acura base at M8G, but there is an Acura vendor there.

I could care less about the size of ours or m8g. I was just pointing out that if a company would probably want to do business with the biggest place with the most contacts but if the chooses not to then that's the decision they make.

Yup, and unfortunately the ppl on 8th gen couldn't come through to make it a successful group buy Help from another forum is what got the gb through thnx to some of the 8th gen members who took the initiative to tell ppl on da...

I don't think that comment is very professional, especially considering that forum helped ur forum get a gb....

Avoiding comments like that of da would be a great way to start. And y go and point out v6p has low 8th gen turn out&not much info on 8th gen? Not making that comment would also be another way we can all work together.....
I'm not one to call ppl out,but u seem to be playing both sides of the fence. U tell ppl v6p doesn't provide a lot of info on 8th gens&we don't have much action and at the same time u ask ppl who post here n the 8th gen foum why they r posting here and for them to post on ur site and yet u want all of us to work together???

Post #5 in the link below
http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...ng#post1823853

And post #61 in the link below
http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...ng#post1821358

The mods here sixspeeder, otsb and others know that I have nothing but good thngs to say about v6p.I'm protective about this forum/site cuz it helped me grow a lot and learn a lot!!!! And the people here never once questioned my abilities as a girl or a modder. U on the other hand called me a noob my 1st post @ ur site & I didn't run over here saying [email protected] gen suck.
Point being, I wouldn't be so quick to disrespect another forum. If u don't like what they do or say then move on,especially if members from that forum r the ones that made the gb successful.......

The end and I loves me some v6p

It's a tactic to recruitment. A guy named timot_one did the same thing. I'm sure godspeed is intentionally doing the same thing as well. It's low, and shameful, but it is what it is.

Some people can't really get traffic to their site, unless they recruit from other reputable sites.
