This truck is a beauty: "Green Diamond" flathead 233 c.i. Yes it's a 6. Straight 6. Thought some of you might appreciate that a 6 is a 6. This truck is the "deluxe" version, with a alcohol/gas burning pre-heater built into the water return feeding the engine. I have fully restored the AM tube radio, which is really beautiful sounding. Single speaker of course...
This is an old farm truck in about as many pieces as it can be prepped for restoration. I've had it since the late 90's, decided to do the college and career thing, so work will begin on it soon... picts to follow...

Modifications
Drivetrain
Will be restored to original with minor modification for lead-less fuel. I've gotta replace the valves anyways, I'll replace the valve-seats with hardened ones to match the new valves.
Interior
Factory springy bench seat is gone, will be replaced with buckets and center console holding a sound system. The factory cardboard-ish headliner will be replaced with a proper, sound-insulating headliner. The best way to describe how I'm doing the whole truck is to resotre
Exterior
none. Had a factory hardwood flatbed, dumps the exhaust just before the rear tires.
Audio
Upgraded to 12v. I can't remember if it's originally a 24v or 6v. w/e I'll remember later.
Suspension
none. Might consider modifying the 1.5 ton rated springs into something that might ride a bit better, or perhaps suspending the cab. We'll figure that out as we go.
