hey wrench turners! happy cinco de mayo from San Diego!

The Power steering (low pressure return line) hard line was not fastened properly and as a result it was rubbing the axle. It wore a hole in it.
What is the easiest way to swap that hard line out? 😅
its a pretty long line and goes above the steering and under the axle, connecting towards the front passenger headlight area...

Got one from the junk yard and ready to put her in this weekend.

The part im talking about is part #
Honda (53779-SDB-A00)
(#13 on this diagram)
Your responses are greatly appreciated.

All good. Got it in. (y) 🔧
1. took off the bumper.
2. fed the hardline in from the front.
3. used a angled tip of a prybar to guide "shoehorn" the front barbed end of the hardline, working it around the axle and subframe stopper.

note* I had to give it some tough love, flexing it a slightly to get it where it needed to be.

connected the rubber hoses, topped off fluid. so far so good. 😅
Mission accomplished. just in time to watch the Padres beat up the Dodgers. 😝🍻

I had to drop the front bumper and remove the oil filter in order to feed the hard line through the front. It has to go on the inside of the subframe bolt. I didn't think I'd be able to make it happen but thankfully, with the help of a small pry bar (harbor freight), it did. 🍻
