I was wondering, I have a unique opportunity to pick up a 2 farad capacitor really cheap. I already have a 1.2 farad capacitor for my current setup (Kenwood 1000 watt amp/2 10" MMATS Pro Audio P2.0 subs).

I'm picking up another Infinity amp to power my components, so the question is:

"Can I use two caps, one on the 1000 watt amp (the 2 farad) and one on the smaller component amp (1.2 farad)?"

The second question would be:

"Would it some how hurt my electrical system running more than one cap?"

Thank you guys, I'm a car audio dummy and I could really use the help. Thanks!

Someone correct me if Im wrong, but you should be theoretically ok since the job of the capacitor is to store energy for future use, or when the amp needs it. You will need a power block to get both of the amps and capacitors installed though. If you still get dimming problems then I would suggest upgrading your battery at that point.
