Okay, here is the new thread with all the TSB's I have, posted in one thread instead of many (thanks to willshire for making me do all this extra work :curse2: )

I can swear my car has the 03-058 TSB problem, but my VIN is not listed, the TSB ends with the 22xxx, and mine is in the 23xxx, if I ask my dealer to still check it out, you think they might fix it? This has happened to me many times, like it's rubbing against something, hmmm.

I already got 6 TSBs that my VIN falls into place, lol.

The VIN #'s are more of a guideline. When the cars are produced, they have no idea that these problems will arise. What they do is study the statistics of people who complain about problems, like the brake rotors warping, and if it turns out a lot of people are having similar problems, they will issue a TSB. VIN #'s on the TSB may be calculated from the frequency of problems within a similar range, or if a certain part from a certain lot is known to be defective, the VIN #'s listed may be the cars produced that use that certain part from that certain lot. It does not mean that if your VIN falls into that range that your car will DEFINITELY develop that problem, nor does it mean that if your VIN is excluded from that range, that you will NOT develop that problem. TSB's are updated on an ongoing basis, and many times the VIN range will increase as more cars report the same problem. It's basically a gudeline for predicting the PROBABILITY of a cetain problem occurring in a certain VIN range. So if your VIN is included in a TSB, it does not mean that the dealer is obligated to replace any parts if you are not showing symptoms of the problem, and if your VIN is NOT included, it does not mean that the dealer will NOT fix your problem if you DO have one.

Josephip, great explanation, I got it now.

By the way, how did you get the PDF files on all these?? or is that top-secret information? I was just wondering cause on the ODI website, they list the TSB's, but not the PDF files.

Took a lot of searching to get all of them. Honda does not want them released to the public, so I just acquire them here and there. I've been keeping an ongoing collection of them since September of 2003 when I bought my 03 Accord.

edit: Also, if you have a specific TSB # that is not posted yet, let me know and I will try to get it.

YOU SO RULE! This was the most useful post I have ever seen here. All these little problems that I thought I was going crazy with...wiper streaking, wind noise in the door, clutch pedal popping...now off I go to get it all fixed.

Oh, BTW, is there a TSB about the center compartment outlet not working?

Do you think you can find the one for the ignition key getting warm. I think the # is 603, but that doesn't look the same as the rest of the TSB'S.
Mine is going in as soon as the parts come in for
Hard starting
Rattles in both front doors with windows down
Wind noise at both the front & rear of the front door glass
Noise in the right side of dash panel
The ones they could not find, because the noise only happens when the body is cold and the weather has been hot here in SoCal are
Rattle in the steering column
Instrumant cluster hood rattle
Noise in the a-pillars

I have more info on the warm key TSB. The date is 6/16/03 & the NHTSA # 10003204. There is also a TSB called GRADE LOGIC CONTROL INFORMATION, # 06-0103, NHTSA # 10002699. This might have something to do with another problem I am having intermittantly that Honda can not find. On rapid acceleration, not wide open throttle, the trans will delay for 1 to 2 secs, down shift from 5th to 4th then to 3rd then open the throttle and then the rpm will come up and your off. This happens between 45-70 mph when running in 5th gear.
I am getting the front door rattle fixed and will try to get Honda to give me a copy of the TSB. It has #11-1703

I talked to the dealer today and they found the warm key TSB. It basically says that the shift interlock solenoid is located in the column next to the ignition lock cylinder, the heat from the solenoid warms the lock cylinder & key, the warm key is a normal condition. My key gets very warm when the car is driven for a long time.
