I own the older version of the AEM intake where the intake is in two pieces so I am able to use a short ram intake or a cold air intake. I've used both. The cold air intake is worth every penny. It gives you that loud roar at WOT. Makes your engine bay look better without that boxy look. The roar comes in at about 3500 rpm. It gets better gains than the short ram.

This is a great product and is one of the first mods you should get on an Accord. You only realize how much it helps after you put back on the stock intake the with the super restrictive stock air resonator! The AEM intake is much more free flowing and allows for a much throatier sound coming from the engine and also with a quicker response then the stock box.

The very first mod piece I got for my car. Installation was pretty easy, though it was a pain to get to one bolt that secures the old airbox hidden behind the bumper. Nevertheless, the engine breathes better with the CAI. The growl at mid and high RPMs is quite intoxicating =P
