AEM V2, crank case vent? New IAT location?

Hi,

About to install my V2 this weekend, just wanted to know if I should just leave the crank case vent to open air for a cleaner combustion? Would there be any adverse effects if I do so?

Also, what's the point of moving the IAT from its original location to the aem pipe? We all know this car is MAP based instead of MAF, and since Honda comes running richer than ideal, wouldn't moving it to a cooler place (AEM pipe) trick the ECU to run richer still because of the percieved increased air density?

Thanks
Robert

If you don't mind dirt, sand, crud & miscellaneous debris getting inside the valve cover go for it.

Back in the late 90's I had a tiny filter clamped onto the crank case vent of my Integra. You could go that route......but I don't know if there would be any perceivable difference.
