Possibly the most expensive intake on the markey with the exception of the Icebox, the V2 was worth every penny. I got it though the Groupbuy and am extremely satisfied. The power kicks in BEFORE 3500, so before VTEC engages, and carries it well through the powerband until it drops up around 5500. It does have a VERY distinct hum, loud enuff that when I remote start my car in the morning, I can hear the hum in the house, and not the car. But unless you sit in your car with the radio off all the time, you dont notice it. I do not see a downside to this intake at all. On my car it seemed as responsive as Abe's CAI, but I attributed that to his plugs, spacer, and rims that weigh 12 lbs less than mine. If you plan on doing I/H/E, I would very much recommend this.

It is worth the money, it is like I have a different car. It pulls like crazy from about 2000 RPM to 5800RPM. And with the hissing sound it makes the car sounds bad-ass. The WOT sound is best of all. Gas mileage has improved as well driveabilaty, I have less doubt about merging on to the interstate from a dead stop. The way it pulls from a dead stop and from 3400 on, is like night and day. The car pulls a lot harder.
I like it!!!!!! I believe I was the first on the site to have one. I have a post on it.

I've had the V2 for 5 months now and I'm still as enthusiastic about it as I was the first day.

This is the best intake for the 1998-2002 when it comes to performance gains. I noticed a nice increase in torque in the 2000-3000rpm range and an even nicer increase from 3500-5500rpm. Overall, the car feels much more responsive than it did stock.

The next best thing about this intake is the sound. It lets out a low-pitched growl at 2000rpm that slowly gets louder as you approach 3500rpm. When VTEC engages at 3500rpm, the growl gets much louder and higher-pitched. To be honest, it's quite breathtaking. What's great is how quiet this intake is in normal driving. At part-throttle it's barely louder than stock which is a very good thing IMO. There is a fairly loud humming sound at idle but it's almost inaudible inside the car. The radio or fan will drown it out completely.

The AEM V2 is a sweet-looking intake. I love the gunmetal color because it goes well with just about any color-scheme you may have in your engine bay. As much as I like gunmetal, I'd like to see more color choices for the V2. I think it would look badass in black and even better in polished silver.

I love my AEM V2 and I don't think there's a better CAI on the market.

I have tried two other CAI for my accord and this one has got to be the absolute best. The performance gains were very evident especially because the intakes were my first aftermarket mods. Aside from the great sound it produces and the performance gains, it also has a very impressive look to it. It is very stylish.

This intake is the best on the market. Beats Injen, Weapon R, Autotechnics, and even it's own version 1 by a long shot!

The power is felt most at 2000-4000RPH's as now I don't even have to hit the accelerator even halfway down to make a spirited run. Anytime I Do hit the gas, I am reminded of how sweet an intake should sound. Deep, growly sound that makes you want to beat your chest and grunt like Tim the Toolman Taylor.

For everyone who reads this, you can buy any other intake, like it, but always wonder...."I think I could get more from an intake..."

AEM said the same thing and thus, the V2

If u need an intake, u've got 2 get tha V2. Like every1 says it s tha best out there, 4rm tha grrrreat sound 2 tha unique look(intake inside an intake) that gives it tha most performance. This intake is not loud at idle or when cruisin, but hit tha VTEC and its on. If u really want 2 hear ur 3.0 v6 scream this is tha perfect part. Although I can't compare it 2 other intakes cuz this is my 1st, I can't complain 4 1 second cuz tha cars im passin will b wonderin if I got boost. (pssssssssssss!!!!!)

Like everyone else mentioned, the intake is great. I noticed the most difference in the 2000-3500 RPM range, although the intake dynos I've seen show a decent increase throughout the RPM range. The humming at idle sounds just like a central Vac. I didn't like the WOT sound at first, but I must say I like it now, it's addictive. I think it is a little to pricey for what you get, but by far the best intake out there.

This intake is definately worth every penny! After I installed it, I was just hoping I didn't screw anything up. Then I got on the highway with it. WOW! When VTEC kicks in, the intake growls like a monster. The humming sound at idle is odd, but nothing you can't easily tolerate. This was my first mod, and I love it!
