Im thinking about getting 19s on my accord i have a Nighthawk Black 04 coupe, i lowered it using H&R springs, front sits 1.4 inchs lower while back sits about 1.3 inchs lower, i went to a local rim shop for a quote and they told me in order for me to fit 19s id have to get the inside of my rear fender CUT! or else the tire will rub up on it and get messed up.

If anyone dosnt know what i am talking about, stick your hand inside the rear fender wall.

TIRES- Brand(not decided) 235-35-19 or 240-35-19 still deciding(any suggestions)

honestly i think theyre bs'ing you. drew has 20s on his accord with like a 4 inch drop and he didnt had to cut anything. maybe u should try to look for a similar rim that is 19 x7 or 19 x7.5 or look for rims with bigger offset?

What kind of offset do you recommend?
Any other wheel suggestions? Really like these though.

whats the offset on the wheels u wanted? 42 and 45 are amongst the most common pattern for our cars, 42 would give it a flushed look while 45 will give it a tucked look
heres a pic of drew's car, dont be fooled by the 20s, that is one of the fastest 7th gens out there

what you really need to check is the offset of the wheels. It would be great to find something with a 50+ offset but i think 42 and 45 and 48 are all ok too. I've got 19's on a 6th generation accord coupe, got a wheel with 50+ offset and 225/35/19 tires, the tuck is excellent and no scrapes whatso ever.

Be careful! A +50 offset on a 19" rim would imply that the rim is only about 7" deep. You have to consider the suspension arms! If the rim is too wide + too high of an offset = not fitting. The ideal size for a 19" rim would be 7.5" with or 8" if you wanted to push with a +45 offset. Don't go any less or more. I am running 19"x8.5" with a +45 offset on my 2nd gen TL which is the same chassis is the 6th gen accord. Just slightly too wide with 225/35/19 rubbers. Had to roll the fenders to avoid rubbing. Pricing is about right for that type of rim with weak rubbers. Expect to push 2K with good rubbers which is what i recommed. Last note. Run 235/35/19 on the 8" width. The tire will sit flush with the rim so you don't curb it as easily...

if you have 19x8 rims with a rear camber kit, your back will rub into the fender...i had to shave my rear fenders in order for my rims to clear...19x8, 51 offset...SPC camber kit. i only had a 1 finger gap also (ground control coilovers.)

Darla are you using a camber kit? And do you happen to know the offset on your wheels?
