Actually it would make a difference. The TSX aftermarket IM are designed to boost power at higher RPM on the TSX. The Accord doesn't even rev as high as when the power boost comes on with the aftermarket TSX intake manifolds. So either get the TSX mani or just stay away. I got mine from K20a.org, just post a WTB ad, you'll get a good response. No reason to pay over $100 either.

TSX IM made the car a new car. Doesn't laggy Also there is a lot more power down low. I also had fujita intake and DC headers. I scare kids in RSX/civic cuz my car intake soo loud out of no where. lol

Also dont pay over 100shipped on k20a.org They don't use the k24a2 im anyways. They always switch to the Euro-R IM

Euro-R one have shorter intake runner so its good for top end power if you can rev high enough that why people on K20 are using that since they are all about top end high rev. Another thing to note is that the shape of the intake is changed. The accord/tsx are bent down while the RSX almost shoots straight out. You might have clearance issue with the hood or radiator not sure.

Lol yeah my car is loud when I get on it. sleeper and then V8 power. God I miss that sound. My sister accord v6 is soo quiet and it also lag because of DBW.. Hopefully the 6spd doesn't lagg as much

I had an AT and it worth no doubt worth doing. Cost me 130 shipped since I was the first few to do it. Also make sure you get a new gasket for the TB just incase.

I have a friend whose dad owns a machine shop. They do complete engine rebuilds. Was thinking about buying a used TSX IM and boring it out/cleaning it up. Anyone see the advantages/disadvantages to this? I plan on also getting an intake, headers and custom exhaust. Should there be noticeable gains low-end/mid-range/top-end?
