Tapping into the community's wealth of experience, I'm interested in hearing what tire people think is tops in the rain.

Thanks
www.tirerack.com would help you out a lot with this, you have several reviews, as well as several tests. plus they are a great resource to use to get locals to price match.

I have T1-S tires on my car, and they are unbelieveable in the rain. My stock Michelin MXM4 tires had trouble going through small puddles and my steering wheel would shake violently. With the T1-S tires, I can go through bigger puddles with no problems.

This sounds borderline stupid, but I tested out these tires in the rain and got up to 130 mph. Talk about stability and water channeling capability.

The T1-R is the next generation model of the T1-S (T1-S will be slowly phased out) and promises to be even better in all categories.
