Apparently my driver side seat warmer switch bulb is out too. Anyone know how to get access to the bulb once I have separated the heater switch? I've removed the heater switch from the center console since I am in the middle of my USA-Spec install.

hahhahahha not to laugh at you....but mine are out too,and ur in luck i've got the answer for you. since you've already done the hard part and taken it out this is what you need http://www.thehondapartsstore.com/h...=KL6MT&catcgry5=SWITCH&ListAll=All&vinsrch=no
if the link doesnt take you directly to it.. just choose ur car, the part you're lookin for is under switches, and you'll see the bulb ur lookin for under the parts list. the bulbs for the driver side are behind a piece of tape and its just a half turn to take them out and put new ones in. if you got a bulb condom on them and ur new bulb doesnt come with new condoms just switch em out. I'm sure its gonna be easy for you if you've already taken everything apart. btw i'm sure u've already done it but just in case plug the working one in ur drivers side to make sure its a bulb problem and not a switch/wiring problem. if you buy the whole switch make sure to get the right side cause they will work, but only mount to one side or the other. goodluck.. btw its only like 2 bucks for the bulb, and 20 or so for the switch.

Hey slee I'm in the same boat as you guys. I was looking at the bulbs on those parts websites, but they charge like $15 for shipping for those $2 bulbs! Is there anywhere else to get these? Perhaps something that would work from superbrightleds.com ? I'm not to keen on spending 7 bucks on a light bulb the size of needle that I will probably break anyway during installation.

yeah i guess shipping is kinda crazy, i had to buy actuators so mine pretty much just piggy backed on those.. check ur local dealer.. like nathan said he got it for 5 bucks.. ouch.. and as far as the led bulbs go.. do a search here of led interior or sumthing like that. Theres a guy who did a diy on them, but for me thats too much work because then i would want to change all my bulbs everywhere in the car. which i really want to do =).

aiate nathan: we are talking about the drivers side switch right?..step 1 look at the switch's right side, the side closest to the shifter. step 2 theres a piece of tape/ like a perfectly cut piece of tape doesnt look like tape at first. peel it off and save it for later. step 3 theres three bulbs looking like this (. ' .) the dots represent the three bulbs. step four get a flathead screwdriver put it in the groove, and give it a slight turn counter clockwise and give it a little tap to get it out. step 5 put the bulb in and reverse. if still cant get it, i'll send u some pictures of what i'm talkin about when i do my door locks.

this is for the heated seat lights:
From Radio Shack
Part # 272-1092
Pkg. of 2
#7219
$1.49

you need to pop out the center plate (4 clips).
Then unplug each seat warmer connector.
Under the plate, youll see 3 screws.
Turn the middle one with a flat head and use pliers or your fingers to get it out.
Then take out the bulb, but remember how the bulb wiring is done (youll see what I mean when you take out the screw).
Slip the orange condom on the new bulb and slip in the bulb onto the screw.
Twist the wires from the bult from how it looked when you pulled it out.
Then cut the excess wires and screw back in.

Just to let you guys know. I've successfully changed the driver's side seat warmer switch. But after I plugged it in, I noticed that now the passenger's side seat warmer switch went out! Don't know why that is. Perhaps there is a conflict of some sort?? The radio shack part number mentioned by 03c0upe came in a pack of 2 bulbs. So I guess I'll be using the other bulb sooner than expected.

I may have used too much force to pop the stupid center console out. Those things are stubborn! But I've got them both working now. Thanks for the help!

Hey thanks for this! I forgot to check radio shack. I just replaced my sunroof light and my TCS OFF light with these bulbs and would highly reccommend them! I got 4 bulbs for $3.60 and the lowest price I could find at a dealership was $5.00, so radio shack was well worth it!
It's not that hard to get the little condoms off, so don't pay the extra at the stealership.

Hay guys are you sure that they are burnt out, because mine were both out and I was messing with them and I found out that they were just loose. Honda puts a sticker on them so they don't move but in the heat they get loose.

Oh thank you. My dealership sells them for $4.79 so I'll just go there. But my question is, how do I get to the bulb? I've got the switch in my hand.
Small screwdriver blade in centre of switch as you view it and turn through 90 degrees to remove it. I think the bulbs are classed as T3 type. Watch out you do not lose the coloured silicone shroud that makes the bulb look coloured whe you take out the old one. I think one has a shroud to it and the other two are plain. It might be the other way around. One bulb lights the switch itself, whilst the other two are for positional lighting of Hi or Lo when switched on. So three bulbs /lamps per switch. The bulbs are delicate so work slowly and in a clear space or table to ensure that if you drop one you can find it. Do NOT work over the gear shift tunnel whilst it is open as you run the risk of dropping a bulb into the open space.
