You can definitely try them and see. The bushings and ball joint are definitely not going to be as good as the Skunk 2 unit. The design is also not as good either. I'm not a fan of the ones with the nuts at the top of the arm, there is very little room for the stock arms when you are lowered, and then they put those nuts there which stick up further... I can only imagine them hitting the shock towers sooner, but since I never installed them I can only assume. It would be nice if you could use the Skunk2 ball joints in these arms, but they wont fit either.

TL;DR There are a few things that make them look bad, but since no one has tried them and reviewed them; and I have not seen them personally, I wouldnt rule them out.

$89 with free shipping plus the option to put in a best offer? Wow, that is pretty cheap. They look just like the Hard Race version which are even pricier than Skunk2 UCAs

thats what i thought as well but i cant mod it so the bolts dont sit as high and i was cut the end of the control arm down and reweld and end on it like (topgun) has done to his

IMO, those upper control arms might be cheaper, but like they say, you get what you pay for. The quality of the build doesn't look well made, the ball joint would probably fail rather quick and probably doesn't have the same amount of movement as the skunk2, it looks like you adjust these from the top, which isn't the easiest to do when adjusting the front upper control arm. Also, the nut on top for the ball joint looks a little high, and depending how low you go will more than likely be hitting the top of shock area. I'd personally save a little longer and get quality parts.

Quick question for all those who've done camber kit upgrades - where have you had the work done and how much was it? I've got shops telling me the sub frame needs to be dropped and are quoting anywhere from $800-$1400 in labor....that's insane. I feel the labor shouldn't be much more than $300 for these things.

That's insane! Why are they saying they have to drop subframe? No camber kit requires that. They even say that about replacing motor mounts and it is not necessary for that either

Definitely get the better parts. Otherwise it'll cost you down the road.



Never heard of "subframe work" needing to be done on a Honda for a camber kit.

I know - it's absolutely insane...The situation only gets more interesting.

So my car was taken to this honda service center for $6k worth of repair work (see my thread about my accident a few weeks ago) and the work is done. While it was there I figured I'd see if they could work a deal on installing my Ingalls sets and front lower control arm bushings. I asked the guy handling my file if they could do it for $300-$350 and he said they could. I dropped the parts off Monday and today I get the phone call from a service manager giving me the $1400 price tag. Of course I call BS, and tell him I've got emails saying they'd do it for that price range I mentioned so he says he'll sort it out and call me back.

He calls me back and says he'll do it for $780. Again, I go back to the email history I have with the guy handling my file for the other repairs and he tells me that they've already done the back and the car should be ready Friday. So now here's where I'm at - I've not signed a single document giving them clearance or approval to do the work - they just went and did it. Then call me to get more $$ out of it. Over the phone I've gotten him down to a whopping $660 - which is still double what I'd expect this labor to run.

Given all this - does anyone have any better estimates as to what this labor is supposed to really be? I'm just looking for more ammo to throw back at these asshats for trying to pull a fast one on me like this. I've read all the Ingalls install guides and none of them mention subframe work. I'm pretty much prepared to go in there with all this documentation in hand and say 'shove it', put $300 down on the table and say they can take it or remove the parts and I'll find another place to do it.
