For sale/ Trade+$: Custom J35 direct swap for 7th gen:

J35 engine, runs great, no issues. Custom build by Paul. My only reason for selling is that I am planning to sell the car in the near future.

I have run this engine in my car for 3 years now, about 30k miles. The engine has been babied, as I don't drag race. Only two autocross events, which are much less stress on the engine than drag. Otherwise, I rarely ever rev the engine over 4000 rpm.

All oil changes performed under my supervision at 5000 miles or less. Multiple valve lash adjustments and compression tests have been performed over the 3 years to ensure top engine performance.

This picture shows the intake manifold, valve covers, and custom powdercoated V2 intake. The small breather filter is no longer on the front valve cover:


Engine has the following items/features:

Complete port and polished, and widened, intake runners
-RL pistons (high compression)
-TL-S camshafts
-TL-S exhaust valve springs (increased engine protection in overreving)
-Fully powdercoated: black block and heads, red valve covers
-RDX injectors
-Hand polished intake manifold and painted intake manifold cover.
-MDX spacer milled by Paul
-Unorthodox racing aluminum crank pulley (includes necessary belt)
-Fuel pressure regulator w/ custom fuel rails and full return fuel system (rails need minor repair before installation- new O ring)
-Full grounding kit - custom made by Paul
-AEM FIC 6 management w/boomslang harness - street tuned for daily driving
-Stainless steel hardware on a majority of the engine surfaces
-Stainless steel radiator hoses (shown in pic above)
-Comptech aluminum oil cap (shown in pic above)
-custom made alumium knob dipstick (not shown in pic above)


To the buyer, I will also include the following items free:
-AEM wideband O2 sensor custom modified by me to display only numbers (no large dial)
-Richies J pipe (version 1) with bung for O2 sensor
-Cored pre-cats in exchange for stock pre-cats
-AEM V2 intake custom powdercoated red by Paul to match valve covers (see pic above)

I also have Innovative motor mounts for an extra $150.

I am not selling the transmission. Also, I am running the stock exhaust except for pre-cat deletes (cored stock precats) and Richie's J pipe, so I do not have a custom/aftermarket exhaust to offer.

I will credit the buyer if they have a stock J30A5 (from 06-07 accord) to trade. I can also trade for a J30A4 if it is in great condition. For engines in good condition, w/no problems and 80-100k miles, I will pay Paul's installation fees, so the price will be $3000 installed.

Please note that for trading your engine, if you have an Automatic engine, I will have to keep my polished intake manifold. It will not be compatible in an automatic, and I also need the manual IM.

The engine swap can be arranged at Paul's house. I will discuss his installation costs with the buyer (which will be waived for J30 trade), and we should be able to complete the swap in one (full) day.

Price: $3000 firm for all of the features listed above, motor mounts will be an additional $150, and you may obtain brand new mount inserts for free I believe from Innovate.

Please note that this price does not include installation costs, which are set by Paul and I will discuss with the potential buyer.

I am located in Northern VA, as is Paul.

Payment in cash or by paypal. Payment via Paypal requires an extra $50 (half of the paypal fee for $3000).

I will require a $300 (10%) deposit at the time of our agreement to buy/swap. The rest will be due at the time of installation, and Paul's installation costs will also be due at the time of installation. If I back out of the swap, the deposit will be refunded in full.

With school, my time is very limited, but I will make every effort to have the swap completed within a month of receiving the deposit.



FINALLY, I also have the RL 4 piston big brake kit and Tein SS coilovers which can be negotiated for with the engine buyer at a great price if desired. Otherwise, I won't be selling the coils or brakes until after the engine has gone. Please don't contact me for those individual items at this time, as this offer is only open to the engine buyer.

Did you ever dyno it?
I did.. the dyno came in at 265 whp, 248 tq. However, keep in mind the the exhaust was stock (including stock precats), except for Richie's J pipe, and the FIC was not dynotuned (only street tune for daily driving). So, the numbers would be much higher for someone who puts a proper exhaust on and tunes for performance. The purpose of that dyno was to get an idea of the engine's before exhaust upgrades and tuning, which I never got a chance to do.

Plan on selling your custom s2k gauge cluster??

nope. It's in pieces at the moment since I started upgrading it last summer. Before I sell the car, I will have it up and running again, and then will probably keep it after selling the accord to use in my (eventual, hopeful) kit car for autocrossing/tracking

My Defi blackface guages will be for sale though... those will come later after selling the engine.
