I told Comptech that I need a CL-S High boost pulley and they said I'll need a new belt also. I remember reading something on here where people were just using the one that came with the original boost pulley. Maybe he thought I own a CL-S 6-speed because I asked for a CL-S HBP. So can I use the belt that originally came with the Accord normal and high boost pulley?

The part number he gave me is: 350-058 Belt, CL-S 6-speed

I'm pretty sure we can use our own belt (AV6 belt). He probably just got me a CL-S belt b/c he thought I own a CL-S because I asked for a CL-S HBP. Too bad I don't have my Comptech checklist sheet so I can check the Accord belt part number. Any CL-S HBP owner change their belt to the CL-S belt?

there is not much of difference between 4040252 and 4040245. both would work because you still need tension it with adjuster.

I use 4040245 even with MAX BP (blower) + CL-S HBP.
Tried 4040252 and it was too long and slipped. BTW, the difference is 24.5 inch vs 25.2 (last 3 numbers indicate length).

i just looked at my belt and its 4040252/4PK640. it seat on pulleys just tight, it can be shorter, but i don't see reason (for me) to buy shorter belt.

I'm curious if changing to 4040245 you might see better results with thermoblock spacer which definately keeps the IM cooler and allmotor tested it with 10* drop before/after. Just make sure belt is tight and as mentioned tried 252 and changed to 245 eventually.

i tried to install thermoblock gasket, but throttle body gasket doesn't work there. it puts IM elbow too far out to joint it with supercharger elbow.

Correct, I heard SC guys used only manifold spacer. Unfortunately, I cannot use one since I won't be able to close the hood. This mod + Mugen cooling mods = :up2:
