got the idea from SIN and some other people who did the same thing to their ipod.
just finish it today. now it match with my red interior light.
planning to do the same with my console and my ipod, it'll take some research on that.

hmm.. kinda hard to see during the day..... but good job none-the-less.... :up:

well i just did the same to my ipod. that was fun taking the danm thing apart. got to admit i was scared ****less the whole time. 40 gb 3gen. i had to double layer the plastic film i got from TAP. one layer look very pinkisk. but double is dark red.

i use guitar pick and a xacto knife.
no scratches/mark. everything work perfectly.

planning to do my gauge cluster later on.

you should ask SIN for that. he was the one that did that. i'm planning to look around on how to get that plastic thing out. i'll write up another DIY for sure :D

yeah like your blue mph. but if i do it i'd do the whole guage. but maybe that's too much red.

sure the next meet we can show off our interior light.

no i drill a hole on top of the center console bin. and mount a led in that. i tap into the cig adapter for power. so it's on all the time.
