i just recently went and got tuned on the Emanage ultimate, since im moving soon and not planning on bringing the car with me. Just wanted to see some extra power:D



oh and Black Trax dyno reads really low. They even told me, that compared to church's dyno its about 40Hp less. And where it says that i lost power, that was from them showing me how restrictive my filter was.

blacktrax is awesome man. I was going to have them dyno tune my car too. I seen them in the k-series book also.
how long did it take them to tune it? I know they charged like 185/hr. Did Jei himself tune the car for you?

Looked like you lost some tq? but gain like 20hp.

You should post up what you have on your car.

yea jei tuned it took him about an hour and half, but he only charged me for an hour.

car is a 6 speed, mods are SRI, j-pipe with test pipe, greddy evo2, UR Pulley,and p&p throttle body

now I am scared to have my car dyno and tuned. lol so your car should be like 250 ish if it was a church dyno. Man if I dyno im get like an 90whp on my accord. lol

lol, yea the numbers are really low, but when compared to churches i would be in the 250's. The fist time i saw those numbers i was bummed till jei told me that churches just read 40 horses higher. lol

yeah I am going to get jei to tune my car after I get all the bolt on in the car.

blacktrax and church both use dynapacks. why would churches read higher?

i ono but its all in the calibration i guess, and the load that they put on the hubs.

yea the calibration are different. i thought they would read the same but according to blacktrax their dyno reads lower

lol maybe. I know they dyno there project rsx-s turbo and that **** made 550whp. lol So I was like damn! Also remember that you are dyno in the summer. Hotter air = less dense air = less power. but yeah 40hp difference is damn

i also think he said that to make you feel better. I did some research and all the rsx-s guys are pulling number very close to each other with the exact bolt on from church auto. 200-225 depending on mods.

not sure, but i pulled those numbers last time when i dynoed at DSR with only the SRI, UR pully and Greddy evo2 and made the same numbers.

from my understanding it is possible to change the reading to be lower. they work with church a lot and know each other so i think he would know that his dyno is reading lower then most are. The only way to really find out is to go to church and ask them if they know Blacktrax underrate their dynos.

plus at the end of the day the only number that is the most important are the tack numbers. But then again dyno numbers are nice to have.lol

also its kind of hard to believe i would pull 191hp before the tune with all of these mods. its possible but hard to believe. so the only other explanation to me is that its underrated.


i did some research on the rsx-s turbo project that blacktrax did, that car was dynoed tuned at churches and made 612hp. so if that car was dynoed at blacktrax again and made that 550hp its possible that it is underrated

612hp -> 550hp = 11% power difference between the two dynos ..

Would 11% apply to a 213whp car? I think the % would be less.

you never know. I seen the car in person. I also seen jei s2k. Its clean!!!!
