Well, I have finally decided to sell my beloved ride after realizing that only one car will be appropriate in my new home - Boston. This car is basically a 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 with all of the goodies associated with this model (Leather, Climate control, power seat, moonroof). It has 94,000 miles, very good exterior condition with immaculate interior. As per standard operating procedure, the car has been improved over the years. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me (below). Car has been and is currently kept in Arlington Heights, Illinois (northern suburb of Chicago).

This car gets compliments from all types of people (tuners, non-tuners, domestic and import). Car has never been raced, never been to the track or strip. My brother is a high-end auto mechanic and has maintained the car in perfect working condition (he basically used to tune Acura’s, Honda, Toyota, and VW and now concentrates on Porsche/MB/BMW doing turbo work and engine swaps).

Pics of exterior, gauges, and rims available in members gallery (Maestro)

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, right now the time to part out the car would not make it worth it, especially the value of used parts. The exhaust would have been the only thing, along with the grille, but I do not have a stock exhaust and I would only be able to get about $300 tops for the exhaust.

The car is not being parted out at this time. I am trying to sell it as-is for another week before going to ebay. The reserve will be set not too far below the current asking price.

Well, if anyone lives in the Chicago area and is will to trade me a stock exhaust plus money for the EVO exhaust, I would be willing to take an offer.... I got an offer for the car but without aftermarket exhaust.

If you want the EVO exhaust, I need the stock exhaust with some $. The deal is there is a buyer, but he is refusing to purchase without knocking $1000 with the aftermarket exhaust.

Any of you near Chicago with a stock exhaust? That is the only thing right now that will be parted out right now. The CL-S wheels may be parted after the sale.

how much did yo get for the car total? and did you sell it the way it was with all the mods and wutnot?

With the mileage, I got just under $10,000. Of course, the week I sold it, I got like 5 calls for it. Sold it to a female in Chicago; she loves it.

I sold it 'as is' because I did not have the time or resources to part it out, expecially since the only parts that would have netted any monetary gains (headers, exhaust, shocks/springs) are the biggest pain in the butt to remove, plus I did not have a stock exhaust.

I am currently a resident at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston) and the car was in Chicago at my parents house. I live a mile from work and my wife is the only driver now (and, as above, she wants a new car :D ). The car remained in Chicago for a few months as is until I decided if I needed another car here.

My brother is a mechanic with access to a lift and shop - but I would have to have him part it out and do the shipping for little monetary gain - and I dod not feel like putting him through all that. Especially since my time was too valuable to worry about parting out either (I could have seriously gotten $1000 for parts, but then maybe less on the car as a result).

Good luck with your sale.
