Not sure how many people are into photography here, but figuere I'd post this here before throwing it on eBay.

I have for sale a Canon Rebel Ti EOS 35mm SLR camera. It has not been used much. My brother purchased it when it first came out and only used it several times. Has been sitting in my room for the last year and a half so I figuere i'd pass it on to someone who is actually going to use it. Everything is fully functional. Has normal wear and tear marks on it, but for a camera of this age, it is in excellent condition. You will recieve the camera, the lens, and two batteries that have some charge in them, though not much. Am willing to ship. Please PM your zip code for shipping charges.

The 28-90mm is the zoom range of the camera...they aren't measured in full 1X, 2X, etc stops.

A 35-40mm focal length is considered "normal" eg, ~1X zoom. So that lens goes a little bit wider than normal vision, and the 90mm max length would be roughly equivalent to a little over a 2X zoom :)

Well with SLR camera, the zoom has nothing to do with the camera...its a function of the lens. The lens coming with the camera is a good all-around lens, but if you want to really "get in there" Canon makes a 75-300mm zoom for around $150, that will effectively get you about a 7X zoom.

Looking for a different camera won't help your zoom needs :)
