from a hp per dollar standpoint, no it's not worth it. they look very different from each other however, so it's really up to you. if you like the stock look, go with borla. if you want bigger, round cans instead then you might like greddy.

I made the same comparison. Hands down it was Borla.

I have been very, very pleased. And no it does not look like stock or sond like stock.
likewise, imo the evo2 looks too ricey for me, dual cans is too much for me

I personally can't compare Borla to Greddy, but now after owning Greddy, the sound is quite impressive. It really gets a nice tone around 2000 rpm to 3000 rpm. Well worth the money. All I have recieved is compliments on how it sounds and looks. People say it doesn't sound anything like your typical rice rocket or a enraged bumblebee :D

Sound : Greddy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> borla
Dollar-worth-ratio : Greddy > Borla

looks : Subjective.
(I personally rather prefer borla's look. I don't mind the big tip, but I hate the huge muffler can. I own greddy btw.)

Once you hear Greddy, no other exhaust sounds unique nor appealing to you.
You have to own one to realize what that is. Greddy has TRULY unique/distinctive sound.
Just for that, greddy is worth the money.

from what i hear, greddy has a nice sound, but u might be able to get some louder and deeper sounds if u customize your borla and remove those resonators....

why dont u just get the greddy mufflers and customize the piping. Piping : around 100-150 plus the mufflers, max 200(used). that's only 350 ish. Roy did it but he went single set up.

:iagree: I guess some people want their exhausts to sound like fart cans... but guys we have v6's they should never sound like an i4. Low throaty sounds... not annoying at higher rpms... that's what Greddy supplies you with.

I also agree about the huge cans they use... would have been nice to get those tips on a muffler that was just slightly larger. But overall I have been 110% happy with my dual EVO2 setup ever since I first laid eyes and ears on it.

Suggestions: Buy one now.

GReddy = :bowdown:

hey people im new to these forums, ive got an AV6 2k5 sedan and im getting a V2 CAI in a month or so, after that my dads tinting it, and then im planning on getting an exhaust, im looking for something subtle, definitely not loud/ricey. I keep reading that CompTech and Borla maybe G-Redd sound like what im looking for but mainly on the Coupe, I doubt that it makes a difference that I have a Sedan, but what do you guys, the pros, think? am I on the right track? suggestions? I saw a thread where someone posted some links to listen to them but I wasn't able to load them... anybody know where else I can go because I really want to hear for myself.
Thanks

IMO, the Greddy sound is awesome. I have gotten nothing but compliments by dozens of people on the way it sounds. They say it doesn't sound like your typical "ricer" with a fart can but instead a nice, smooth sound that growls at WOT.

You are exactly looking at greddy.
I was in SAME boat as you. Nothing too loud, yet noticible, and must be sexy. :D

Does anybody know if any of these exhausts are true DUAL exhausts? I can't remember where, but I saw some pics of what I think was a dual G-Reddy... am I right? Also, does anybody know how much these things will run me? $$$... and where I can get them? online? shops? I live in S. Cali, east of east LA near Montebello (60FWY + 605FWY) . Anywhere I can read up on the exhausts online?
Thanks alot, -Oscar
