Can I get a comparison of these 3 products? My car has NAVI and I'm deciding on which one to get, as this is gonna be my final mod.

ICELINK - http://www.densionusa.com/icelink_info.htm
DICE iPod Integration - http://www.densionusa.com/dice_prod_info.php
USA SPEC iPod Interface - http://www.crutchfield.com/S-jevBTi...=581PA11HON&search=USA+Spec+iPod%AE+Interface

My main concern is the ability to use steeringwheel control + ease of use + ability to choose songs from within the ipod itself or by use of steeringwheel controls/radio. I don't listen to the XM so I will be disconnecting it. I read somewhere that if I got the Icelink, I would need to get some sort of wire harness due to me having Navi.

Thanks :)

PS- is the USA SPEC iPod thing the Honda factory one? If not, then should I just get the one from Honda?

Scrap that idea get an aftermarket HU w/ ipod support. Just my .02. My experience w/ the icelink has gone from mediocre to worse. I'm no longer impressed w/ that thing at all. It's VERY limiting as to what you can actually control w/ the steering wheels. I actually just switched to my 3.5 output, it sounds the same, and I have full control over my Ipod now, until i get the new HU wired up this weekend anyway ;)

Dude, the Icelink is great! If you don't want to use the IceLink interface, just switch it to VirtualIP and you can scroll through you're ipod and select, pause, and skip song like normal. Check out where I mounte mine.

anything on the DICE? its supposidly $159, $10 cheaper than Icelink. To me comparing both of those, it seems as if they are the same thing, but DICE is mainly made for the video ipod. o_O I mean I could go for it because its cheaper and all, but I also see some ya'll got bad news on the Icelink. My friend w/ a s2000 installed his Icelink, tho lotta the people on his forum say the Icelink overheats or somethin... dunno if thats a prob for us? This is gonna be my last mod, I dont wanna spend much because if I get aftermarket headunit, that route gonna cost 500+

I got nav, and i just want the easiest setup as possible. Just the ability to not havin to burn new CDs almost once every 1-2 weeks. Steeringwheel controls would be a plus too.

I've got the IceLink in my car. 04' V6 Coupe and I love it. Steering wheel controls work perfect and easy to install. Check out my ViewDo on it. Shows you exactly how to get into the dash and do the install.

Best part is you can download it to your ipod video and watch it in the car while you're doing the install!!! :D

You have to create an account to view or download but it only takes a second.

Let me know what you think,

It was the best thing available (that I was aware of) at the time I got it back in February

ICELINK is great! I mounted it inside and I dont use the icelink interface, but still I can use the steering wheel controls (for volume and skipping songs only, of course). THe sound quality is very good.

My dad have one also in is BMW 525, mounted in the trunk. He uses the icelink interface and organized all of his songs in 5 playlists by genre. He loves it also.

I heard Honda's iPod Link is not very user-friendly at all.

Here's a link to a pretty thorough review of it: http://www.nuxx.net/hondamusiclink.html
That TTS (Text To Speech) interface is a disaster  . Didn't BMW figure out how to make the iPod info show up on there audio HU's?

Guys, I got the USA SPEC iPod integration installed!

Sux to have navi... I had to pull the navi unit out a lil to reach the AUX plug in the back. No more XM (not that I use it) but the sound is amazing!

It doesn't keep track of the track# tho... I use Direct Mode. The track # on my headunit just keeps goin up and up as the songs keep goin. Even after my playlist is done, the iPod rewinds back to 1 but my headunit keeps addin on.
