Hello Accord V6 enthusiasts

I am a new kid in the block. Thank you for your feedbacks in advance.

I recently found that my 2006 Honda Accord Ex V6 3.0L was leaking oil under the valve housing (front).

So I replaced the valve cover gasket. In doing that job - obviously I had to remove the intake manifold - which as you know, has two gaskets - one on the top and one at the base.

At that time, I did not think about these two gaskets at all. I reused the gaskets. But online retailers are trolling me and offering me suggestions to buy the other two gaskets (for intake manifold) :).

Hence the doubt popped up in my mind.

Can someone please suggest - if I should have replaced the intake manifold gaskets as well when I did valve cover gasket replacement job?

Should I do it now?

thank you very much for your response/suggestion/advice.

Do you hear a vacuum leak hissing sound? Is your idle rough? If not you're fine. It's good practice to replace those gaskets, but you don't have to.
( I didn't when I did my front valve cover )

It's a good idea to change them but if you don't have a vacuum leak after reusing them, you're fine.
