Yes, it's part of the FTP circuit according to the service manual in the EVAP DTC troubleshooting section. I overlooked it when you gave me the previous code.

If you look at the pinouts in the links I posted, you can compare connector A between the 04-05 TL and 03-07 Accord. My Helms manual makes no mention of any changes between model years of the 7G Accord...except for how the ECT sensor is named on Connector D (won't affect anything).

Yea I move that pin, that when the cell went away.

I drove the car to the Acura dealer with the accord ecu, and gave them the Tl ecu.
They needed whole the car, I took the ecu out and told them to just plug the tl and re-keying the immobilizer that I would put everyting back so they wouldnt charge me for taking the ecu out and putting it back. They charged me the minimun time 1 hour $125

Gwiffer, awesome!!! Glad you guys got it figured out!

How much did this cost? Parts then labor. It honestly may be one of the most cost effective mods. I'm sure the torque increase is substantial.

I got the engine for $450, the install was $700, 04 TL ecu $140, wasted $70 on the 06 TL ecu which doesn't work for our car $40 coolan $81 for a right side engine mount, my was broken. $35 oil and filter. $125 at the dealer to get the ecu to work.
The timing belt, and clutch were recently done I had a friend look at the engine bin # , I just took the fly wheel a machine shop to get it resurface +$50

props to gwiffer! thanks for the post on the pinouts for those looking to swap a j32a3 in the future..

sorry i couldnt help you out more than i could chulo.. when it comes to electrical, im clueless. i tried to reach dr. chuie for the info, but he is in the middle of moving his shop, so hes been kind of hard to reach for the last couple of weeks. we just barely found out about the evap cel recently ourselves. i just sold my SC setup back in dec which is the reason i finally swapped out the ecu for the TL unit. i drove around for weeks with the evap cel thinking i needed to change the sensor also, but when i brought it back to him a couple weeks ago for another issue, thats when he found out about the pin being in another location and looked up both pinout diagrams. all these years i never had the need to run the 3.2 ecu till now, since i was boosted and running the fic for fuel management. oh and just fyi, the reason why i took it back to him was because my car bogged out and eventually died on me like i was running out of gas on the freeway. had the car towed to his shop and it wasnt getting any spark and kept popping the ingition coil fuse when putting the key to the "on" position. thinking there was a short somewhere, he took all day trouble shooting the problem, but luckily we still had my stock ecu handy. plugged that in and it started right up. turned out that my AC was running so cold, that water condensed around the AC hose fitting and flooded the area around the ecu. we cracked it open and water poored out lol. luckily there was no corrosion any where on the circuit board, so we dried it out with an air gun and it works perfectly now ;) we put a cover over it so the problem wont happen again..

also, for those interested in the swap, call around some shops in your neck of the woods. i found a shop that programmed the immobilizer for 50 bucks. only took about 15 minutes to do ;)

as for gains, trapping 2-3 mph higher on the swap alone sounds about right. thats about how much i gained when i did the swap SC'd. track conditions, elevation, temp, humidity play a HUGE role on ET's and traps, thats why you see such a disparity in times at different tracks accross the states. i remember gaining 3 mph's at the same track with the same setup on a freakishly cold 25 degree day at fontana (it does snow there periodically @ 1200 ft elevation) than it did on a 100 degrees summer day earlier that year.

Sean thank to you I didn't have to go through all that trouble and went straight to changing the pin. I would probably have started changing Parts and all kind of staff.
