i'm wondering how others have accessed the XM plug... cuz I can't seem to reach/see/find it w/ my eyes.

Do I need to pull out navi? or perhaps is there some secret techique used to reach the plugs that i'm not aware of?

I have an 2004 w/Navi and you have to remove the radio to get the XM plug for your IPod.

I had the same question too because I think the non-Navi cars the XM connector is under the big center box (you have to remove that box to get to it), but the Navi units are not as easy :(

You can use this link to see how to remove the parts on the car:

Basically once you get the center counsil and glove bax area apart there are 2 bolts under the radio that come out and you need to pop off/up the top vents and there are 3 screws on the of the radio that need to come out...then it should come out.....

Hope this helps

thanks a bunch :D I'll attempt this monday

MY LAST MOD. I am done.

Also, did u have to pull whole navi out? or just enough to unplug?

I'm really lazy. I pulled everything out except navi at 1st. I didn't even remove my shift knob or anything lol. I left everything plugged in.
