the gap is huge because of the tire size...get 235/35 and that should close the gap a lil more...

Right, since your on 215, I can only imagine your tires are like rubber bands, if you go to 235, that will widen the tire along with making the sidewall a little bit bigger, anyhow since your going to drop it, 2 inches all around should take care of the 4 finger gap, I remember, because I was fitting a whole hand throw my front fender gap, you may want to look into tein ssp, or if you want to control your budget and get just as good as of a drop for a couple hundred less, then go with Tein S-Tech springs and Koni Yellow Shocks, you may even want to look into the Nuespeed Supercup Kit, they will all pretty much do the job. Good luck, Keep us updated.
Make sure to post pics too.

215/35!! HOLY...u got squat to protect your rim.

I've got 20's with 225/35 series. I'd go to a 235 series, and drop it 1.5-2" depends on how much ride quality means to you.

I have a 1.5" drop on tanabe springs and stock struts, the quality is great.

damn, 215's?? wow, that's like havin' s3x without condoms. sorry for my lame analogy, but you get my point.

with a 7.5 width, you need to go with the 235's buddy. not lower than 225.

if you stick with those tires, you will most likely dent your rims. unless ofcourse you drive on nothing but flat surfaced roads with no pot holes in sight. lol.

Congrats on the new rims. I just ordered some new 19's rims that came with 215 tires. I asked them if 215 were recommended and customer service told me that for the 7gen accord, the recommended tire size was 225 so they gave me those instead for 80 bucks more. Anyways, They are sitting at my house and I plan on putting them on today, i have tein s-techs on stock shocks and its lowered about 1.5 inches. I can post some pictures if you like after i put them on. Expect them later today or this weekend.

thank you all for your help.. i think Im going to drop the car and see how it looks, and then maybe get 225/35 or 235/35 tires. Even thought I got 19s, i still cant stand the way it looks, so im going to start shopping for lowering kits now :)

Which is better, eibach or tein?? and what about dropzone?

As for tire sizes, will this really make a difference in how the drop looks?

SIDEWALL Height: (courtesy of 1010tires)

215/35/19 2.96in
225/35/19 3.10in

0.14 inch diiference?

I know the coupe needs a wash thats where Im going next :D

Even though it does look jacked up, once you drop it, it should look real hott, i rode around like 6 months jacked up, ah, wasn't fun, but i had to save up for my drop, I prefer Tein over eibach..

Anyhow the rims look good, i like the gunmetal color inside the rim, that def sets it off, i see that you also have the front lip on, geez, your wasting no time, i like that, whens the flip out tv going to come! lol

Im not wasting time at all, as a matter of fact, I just placed an order with Ganley for the rear underbody lip, and ordered 2 mufflers.. trying to get the same setup you got on your accords rear side :)

The flip out is coming on as soon as I solve the drop issue and get the side spoilers and rear decklid.. I cant wait !! Should be all done in a month or so :D oh and in case you didnt notice, the fog lights are on too

Hmm.. thats funny, it seems more than just a 1.2-1.3" drop. It makes a world of difference even on my stock 17's with stock shocks. But i heard that if you team it with the koni shocks, then it will settle lower.

i think 225s would be best. 235 might be kinda wide for 7.5". i recommend teins, and coilovers if budget allows, but s-tech drops have been looking good.
