TL...I have the 09 TL IM/TB. The RL is more expensive I believe. And the ZDX throttle body is the cheapest of the TBs.

In terms of trap speed, on a similar day (in terms of weather and DA), I increased my traps by 1.5-2mph. The DA corrected MPHs were around 2mph as well. It's a great mod. This was after my bored TB/gasket matched lower runners and gasket matched lower IM ports.
One day, I will have more power than you. :up:

I may tell my fiance that my valves are done on my engine and that I have to buy new ones which are almost 2k. Thats the only way she will let me buy pauls p&p/milled heads wiiiiiiithhhhh stage 1 cams.. Annnnd maybe just possibly I could get some ported runners and the 3.7 mani zdx tb.. :D

^ You have some catching up to do ;) But do it, I hold no grudges for those whom make more power than I do lol. Atlas already makes more power than me, it's just that he uses a different dyno so the numbers aren't there. It's obvious his car with similar bolt ons yet TL-s cams/11:1 CR & ported heads will put down more power than mine. But if he doesn't put my ported IM on by this weekend, I'm taking it back lmaoo.

What really sucks is I have 2.5k, but if my fiance caught me spending that for no good reason, my manly area would be a desert, and that is noooooooooooooooo good. :up:

325whp is definitely attainable, 275wtq may be a bit much on the 3.0, but who am I to say when no one has done it yet? :up:

You will need FBO/ported heads with 11:1/cams/good tune. At that point, I think 315-325ish is reasonable (on a Dynojet). Anything higher than that and you will need to up the compression or get some more aggressive cams.

Yeah. As of now It seems wtq is usually 30 behind the whp. Stage 2 cams and 12:1 should see another 10-15whp my guess is?
 
^ I don't even want to speculate because I haven't seen anyone dyno a J3x with aftermarket cams yet. Gerzand apparently did, but there was no before/after IIRC. Although he is a really respected member (I respect him and he is extremely knowledgeable), Idk if I can personally say a 35whp gain is possible solely with a cam upgrade/tune. I wouldn't say it's impossible though with supporting mods. Also, the TL has 11:1 CR stock, so that's already a full point more than us, which definitely adds to the gains of any cam setup.

Well I would say stage 2 would be 5whp over stage 1 and a 1 point increase in compression is good for another 5whp. So I would think at least 10whp over what was previously said is a good guess.

I'd say that should be correct within a few hp. Then if you add the P&P head and add compression you've easily got a 300whp + machine. I would who will be the first 300+whp n/a J30..

Our cars are fast, quick, & surprising but it's definitely not the fastest car

2-4k for 325whp is better than 6k for a turbo that is 350whp. :up:

Plus it's more impressive because it's a 3.0 sohc engine.
 
I wasn't referring to supporting a turbo setup. I was referring to selling your car and buying something faster stock out of the factory..
Oh. If I could do this all over again I would have saved 4-5k more and bought a 335i. :banghead:

Yes because all those platforms you speak of, start out with a fast car, or the ease of potential. The challenge/uniqueness of a fast Accord, is something to be proud of ;) Now don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking those who choose that route. But I prefer this way, for now at least.
 
Funny. The 335I is the exact car I was indirectly referring to.
I want one so bad.
They're very mod responsive, fast, & not to mention luxurious and gorgeous..
My dream: '09 Black 335I coupe 6/MT w/red leather..
I'm right there with you, but a sedan. I'd go Vishnu 3 I think it is and an intake and call it a day. Thats like 360whp and even more torue. Plenty for a DD.
