Where are you getting those?
or if you use regular spherical bushings like those below, how do you install them?
I would install 2-3 of those and run a tube inside to reduce the inner diameter to the proper size and to prevent side loading the bushings just by torquing the bolt, but I can't find a way to do it without presure on the inner part, maybe except freezing/heating

Item # GE20ET-2RS, GE..ET-2RS Spherical Plain Bearings, Metric - Sealed - Ptfe Lined on Aurora Bearing Company

There is a company called super pro that makes poly bushings for our car but they are hella expensive. I found them on the Tein website.
Here is a link to the bushings they make for our car:

and heres a link to their price list:

In my opinion it would probably be the same as if you replaced the bushings and poly filled them and a hell of alot cheaper but then again I havnt done either mod so any risk is on you.
thanks, ill be ordering a set this weekend, since my OEM ones are gone. ;)

^ftl 1-2mos is too long to wait for me....I'll just have to cancel my order of factory control arm, & bushing I ordered today. They can't handle my car anymore anyways. I met my managers friend tonight, and drove his car with energy bushings all around, paid $175 total.

I def want that

they dont sell compliance bushings though.

i have not ordered mine yet, but when i do i will let you guys know.

...I'm been taken to a website (from your link) to a bunch Moog parts? Are you talking about the Moog parts? They are OEM aftermarket replacement parts..not the same as performance parts/performance bushings...and they do have compliance bushings I have 2 sitting in my room waiting to go on. I poly filled them.

they dont list them on the energy suspension site... odd.

i dont want OE style replacements, they are just going to wear out... even filled it will deteriorate.

the poly ones i will be getting will last much longer.

Email I received after attempt to get some energy bushings for lower control arms from site recommended in above post. Going to source next, I hope I get lucky enough for em to make it

Hello,

Unfortunately, it appears that Energy does not offer bushings for your vehicle. Which I am assuming you already know. We are only a dealer, so, we can not help you. You might contact Energy directly to see if they can help you with this.

Energy Suspension’s Phone Number is:
(888) 913-6374 toll free

Or email:
hyperflex@energysuspension.com

Let me know if you need anything else.

These bushings are designed to move in all three axis. If you poly-fill them, you will limit your suspension travel. You do not want polyurethane to be used in this instance, only rubber.

The only heavy duty solution is to install spherical bearings, however, these are very expensive and are not proven to be durable for a daily driven vehicle that experiences any sort of inclement weather. That's why Nighthawk will be using them in his race car.

The only realistic option is to have OEM spec bushings made of a higher durometer rubber; matched with similar replacements for all of the remaining bushings, which only move in one axis.

I'm interested to know what Energy Suspension's solution will be...

^Yeah, keep us updated.

Here's what I've been told:

Every other bushing can be made of poly. However, the compliance bushings will not work properly unless they're made of rubber. Poly doesn't like multi-dimensional movement, since it's nearly incompressible. If used, binding will occur.

Supposedly, the 04-06 TL uses higher durometer rubber for its compliance bushings. These bushings are larger in diameter and wouldn't work with the Accord LCA, however, the TL LCAs could probably be used. I was talking with nighthawk or 04accordcpe about it a while ago. One of them had done the swap; I don't remember what all was involved, though.

i believe the super pro poly bushings are shaped to give you the multi-dimensional movement needed.

i will be ordering them thursday i believe, and will create a thread when i get them and install them.

I'm in for results and updates.... BTW I happen to have 2 brand new OEM compliance bushings still in the wrappers that I'll ship to anyone for $30 if anybody wants to try the poly-fill mod. Just PM me

I'm also in to see if Nighthawk or 04accordcpe responds and states whether or not the TL CA's are compatible with our cars and are more durable

www superpro.com.au/find-superpro-parts-for-my-vehicle/part?id=SPF2945K

on the site it says it "Replaces original part number 51391-SDB-A01"
that is the part number for the compliance bushings.
