So I was at the dealership yesterday to get the wiper and ignition switch recall done and they told me the front lower control arm bushings were shot but quoted me 350 to replace them. I didn't look at them yet, but assuming they were telling me the truth I assume I can replace them myself pretty easily for a lot less. My question is does anyone know if there are equivalent Energy Suspension bushings to replace the front control arm bushings or possibly poly bushings from another company? I could not find any listed as compatible with our car. Thanks!

The eccentric stuff that are offset and not centered can help give you some caster, or camber depending on how they are installed into the arm. You must make sure if you buy those, you have a professional know what they are doing with allignment install it.

You choose between eccentric, or centered. That's the choice you make. I chose eccentric because I'm using it to get a tad bit more posi caster.

Super Pro Told me this, after telling em I tend to drive aggressive on street and also will be using car on drag strip. They also know that I'm on lowered suspension of shocks n springs, 2.0 in front & 1.5 in rear. This is after telling em i wanted the 2945k. SuperPro answered the following:

"Jason use SPF2947K instead of (SPF2945K & SPF2946K) SPF2947K is double offset which will increase caster and anti-dive, therefore better traction. "

I'm curious about the durability of the spherical bearings in everyday driving and during winter conditions. I think I've seen rubber boots on spherical bearings before. It seems like it would be good idea for something that sits horizontal like that.

I'm pretty sure the Civic parts won't be compatible. Full-Race would have to design new Accord/TSX parts.

okay, so ive been emailing back n forth with SuperPro about the instructions...

i actually had them revise the directions, and they might be doing another revision as well.
If the final revision is complete, i will post the finalized instructions on this thread and on my how to remove/ install thread when i create it.
