Problems after replacing map sensor

Okay I have a 98 Honda Accord V6 3.0 engine. The check engine light came on and the code came up for the EGR valve, the second clutch pressure sensor valve, and the map sensor valve, so I replaced the EGR valve then I replace a map sensor valve and now the car is hogging up my gas the shifting on the transmission is like way worse than it was it's shifting hard and doesn't want to go into second gear at all the car smells like gas and combustion I don't know what I did wrong I unplugged the battery put the new map sensor on my transmission guy told me that I needed to fix the engine part like the map sensor and then bring the car to him but I don't know what I should do any help is appreciated
