Honestly, I spent the big bucks and bought:

1) The main book ~70
2) The v6 supplement ~40 (the one you linked to)
3) The v6 M/T supplement
4) The electrical troubleshooting manual

And the only two I ever cracked open are (1) and (4) - both of which are definitely worth the money if you plan on doing any DIY or even aftermarket bolt on stuff.

Injen CAI installation guide
Koni Yellow installation guide
S-Tech install - I guess I can't complain too much about this. They made it pretty clear about where to cut the bump stop, but that was about it
Comptech's short shifter installation guide :gotme: Although, Neuspeed's was pretty good.

And every other mod I've done has basically had no installation guide. I'd still be trying to figure out how to plug-in the soundgate AUX->RCA adapter if I didn't have (1) and help from all the awesome V6P people and car domain people :v6pyea:

KA refers to an emissions bracket, namely the continental US emissions rating
the flip side would be KC, the california emissions rating

L4 refers to inline 4 engine,
V6 is for the v6
