Yeah, that should be just fine. Your wheel should be about 2mm into your car (tucked into your body).

good luck!

I dont think it would work. 38mm offset would make your wheels stick out alot. The stock offset is 55mm! Anything around 45mm offset would be ok!

But you have to factor in the new wheel width. Also, the stock 17"s with the +55 offset looks more into the body too. Either way, you can use the tire offset calculator shown here.

http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html

I put in my stats, which are 18"x8.5" with a 42 offset. Mine sits flush with the body. So based on that, the 38 offset with your tire width should work just fine.

That says my wheels would extend 30mm out further than stock... I don't think its worth the risk but thanks for saving me the time of having to send them back.

They'll work just fine. What the 30mm means is from your current wheel right now, you extend out 30mm. Not from where it's sitting flush because your current stock wheels do not sit flush with the body. It sits more into the body. That's what I'm trying to explain to you.

Someone will be able to confirm this.

the wider the wheel is....the more positive offset you need fit...you would need at least +45-48 offset to run an 8" wide wheel......i run 7.5" wide wheels with +42 offset....and they are as flush as you can get the lip with out sctretching your fenders.....

NO WONDER!!! You're a 6th GEN! I was like.."what the heck?!! I'm running 8.5" and a 42 offset and it sits flush.."

I think you will be fine. The drop, if you don't have a camber kit, will give you some negative camber which will give you a few more mm's.

It'll be fine. It won't be flush with the body of the car. Your wheels are going to retract into the body of the car by maybe 10-11mm. You won't have rubbing issues. Good luck!

Would the set up below work on my 7 th Gen? It's been lowered on HR sport Springs

Size: 18x8.5"
Bolt Patter: 5x114.3mm
Offset: +38mm

with (4) 225/40ZR18 Nexen N3000 tires brand new never mounted.

I'm getting a good deal on these and need to know if they will fit.

You want to use a 235/35 tire that way your spedo wont be off as much. I have 235/35/19's on 19x7.5 wheels.
