everybody buys this for the sound, if not anything else. it does NOT make the sound on a stock air box, but on nearly any intake it will.

it is very well designed and comes with all the necessary (and many extra) parts. you may have to go to home depot and buy some extra screws just for a better fit though (or just PM me and i'll pick some up for you and ship them if you can't find them). it even comes with extra gaskets, which is a real plus. if i had the chance, i would definetly buy it again.

i must also mention it's a great gift for a v6 member. it's not too expensive and is a great novelty item above all else!

The install took about 45 minutes and was pretty clear-cut. Just be careful when you disconnect the coolant pipe under the intake becuase it will leak. We found a way to install the spacer without removing that.

For us, the cool sound is heard from 2-3 rpm and you can't hear it much at WOT, which is where the throttle remains most of the time

i have a question for u people with this product.. do u know if the tb spacer "pluse" makes that hissing noise? cuz mai friend said that the new one doesnt.. and the "pluse" is the newer version.. do u know where i can get the original tb spacer?

love this thing. if u have a v2 and u put this in. WOW!! nice S/C sound and u can controll exactly where and when u want it to come on. turn heads =D
it gives about 1-2 hp all around according to Toby (car god) who had his AV6 dynoed by AEM with V2.
well worth the 60 just for sound alone.

Good Item. The install was pretty straightforward, except for the fact that the instructions are about as clear as fogged up glass. There are no helpful diagrams and you need a little bit of force to get the TB off...but other than that, its a great sound. i love the sound if only that. personally, i think its worth it. plus, its dyno proven 3 whp and 3 torque... :up2:
