so i got my cousin to install my springs. however for some jack ass reason he used a torque gun on the stabilizer link nut and hex bolt...

now it seems the nut is jammed tight and the hex area is being eatten up.

any suggestion on how to loosen this nut from the bolt? without sawing the bolt off and buying a replacement stabilizer link?

wd40? grease? piss?

damn cuzin

Didnt your cousin eF something else up? Or was that another guy? Just try letting wd40 soak in for a couple of minutes at a time. Try jacking it up to relieve some pressure.

might be your hex key too. i used the cheap one that was in the trunk at first, it started stripping both itself and the threads because it didnt fir perfectly. grabbed my allen key set, used that, worked like a charm.

any chance you can have him gun it off again?
