I have the second generation tyc headlights, the ones where you have to remove your bumper and take out the headlight to change the bulb.One question i bought a h1 replacement bulb for the burned out passenger side and want to know if i can use any h1 bulb or do i have to get a specific bulb for that headlight?

yes any h1 will do, and you do not have to remove your bumper to replace the bulbs

Yes you do have to take off the bumper and take out the headlight to change the bulb this generation of tyc has a square box on the back of the h1 bulb that can't be reached with a screwdriver so many parts of the engine block taking it off
