Excuse me for being an idiot, but i really know absolutelly nothing about cars. Ok my question is why people who dyno there car get less HP then what there cars suposed to be getting for example; some1 with a 2000 AV6 shouldnt they be getting 200hp?, and i saw some1 with an srt-4 posted and had 190hp.. i probably sound like a complete idiot, but like i said i know absolutelly nothing about cars but i do want to learn :D

No worries man...that's why this forum is great because we can learn a few things from people's experiences and knowledge.

I'm no expert either but I was told that the reason for the difference is that dyno numbers are measured at the wheels. The guy that dyno'd my car told me that the 6-speed manuals lose approx 17% at the wheels in 4th gear. So using this data, 224whp/83% = 270hp based on my dyno.

The publications advertise 240 stock hp for the V6 Accord 6-speed. So 240 x 83% = 199whp stock.

If my math is wrong...someone will correct me I'm sure. :D

2 words. Parasitic losses. Like vtecno said, power goes through all those components before it finally reaches the wheels translating to losses. Like a 2000 Accord goes from 200 crank horsepower to 155+/- to the wheels. It's a more common and cheaper method of measuring engine power since you'd have to take out your motor for an engine dyno.

i may have the NA title. Will send the graph to whoever i need to but the numbers were 201ftlb and 178hp at the wheels. will jump by 25 on both if i can find some cam gears.
Someone right above you put down 224whp/194wtq in their 6MT Accord Coupe, so I don't think you have the NA title right now. Still nice numbers nonetheless.
