try and find some replica mugen stuff on ebay, its pretty cheap, and looks decent, then stop by a macco to have it painted, they can do a lip kit for $200 probibly

 

well im attending school at University of Maryland, but they got a maaco here and i called them up wondering, and the guy said they dont typically do kits often and tried turning me away from it saying that theyll just get cracked and theyre a b*tch to install and all this...and how is maaco?? i know they charge like less than 500 bucks for a whole car (or as advertised on tv) but do they do good work?

 

just search around....i got my mugen front and sides painted for 125$...Maaco sucks...you need someone who can guarantee the paint will stick to the plastic and will do the prepwork needed to make it look good....

You can get kits for dirt cheap these days off eBay. If you were in SoCal you can get them for even more dirt cheap and not have to pay for shipping.

If you're going to consider Maaco, I'd honestly suggest painting it with a few cans of DupliColor touchup spray and DupliColor clearcoat. I helped my friend do it and it turned out looking pretty good - not to mention it beats the crap out of the primer look. You might also want to post it in the NY-NJ-CT regional forum to see if any local members want to get rid of their kit.
